Hilton Worldwide is an American multinational hospitality company that manages and franchises a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts. Hilton is headquartered in Tysons Corner, Virginia, U.S. As of June 30, 2020, where they began transformational changes internally to bring all of their marketing materials into one digital asset management system across their multi-brand teams. The MarKit or Lobby is a content management environment which would allow all hotel owners to login to a database of easily managed and usable marketing materials for their business use.
The Hilton Worldwide brand had decided to internalize a lot of their brand operations to gather a form of consistency through modernization of their asset management. Content creation, strategy, presentation, and migration was a key training in serving multiple brands/clients simultaneously, since each brands they operate had a project manager. Each brand previously had their own management systems which he had to learn, navigate, and identify materials for migration. If it existed, then we can pull it, modernize it and add it to the inventory. Many assets did not exist and had to be recreated, modernized and once again, added to the inventory. The experience varied by brand and request, while also having to think of the user interface that our audience would be navigating to access their toolsets. It was a great experience to help ease the lives of thousands of owners which will help empower them to be the best hotel operatorsf.
